Where is the Hope when you’ve done something wrong

Believing Jesus died to pay for all I’ve done wrong.

and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Matthew 6:12 (NKJV)  “And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.

Matthew 6:12 holds a profound truth about forgiveness.  This week, we will look at verses that highlight God's amazing promise of complete forgiveness when we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior.  We will delve into numerous verses that illuminate this promise…God’s unwavering promise to forgive our past, present and future sins.  My earnest prayer is that by the end of this week, you will find deep rest in the assurance of your restored relationship with God. This truth lies at the very heart of the Gospel — it's the essence of our faith.

Embracing and internalizing God's forgiveness isn't merely an eternal blessing; it profoundly impacts our daily lives, particularly in how we interact with others. Ephesians 4:32 says Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.  Jesus isn't suggesting that God's forgiveness hinges on our ability to forgive others, instead, our capacity and strength to forgive others, even in the face of great hurt, stems from understanding the depth of our own forgiveness.

Hope in Action:  May this week be one of deep reflection and transformation as we explore the richness of God’s forgiveness together.

Bible Memory

Our Father in heaven,

Hallowed be Your name.

Your kingdom come. Your will be done

On earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
