Where is the Hope when you’re tempted to do wrong?
Believing God has promised to help me.
“and do not lead us into temptation,”
“Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.” 1 Peter 5:8 NIV
Hope In Action: Be armed and ready with the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word (the Gospel- and praise him for the gift of abundant life in his son Christ Jesus!). The spiritual enemy is waiting to pounce and devour. Be watchful and diligent to renounce him, this means to literally speak out against him, and realize God has another way for you to proceed as He says in in 1 Cor. 10:13. "No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it."
